You Are Held When You Feel Empty

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

— Isaiah 40:29

Can we just be honest for a second? Some mornings you pour the cereal, wipe the counter, sign the permission slip, and referee an argument about whose turn it is to sit in the front seat — all before 7:45 a.m. And somewhere in that blur, you catch your reflection in the microwave door and think, *I have nothing left.* Friend, that feeling is real. You are not failing. You are just human, doing a very hard, very important thing. Here's what I love about this verse: God doesn't say He rewards the strong or blesses the ones who held it together. He gives strength to the weary. That's you. That's today. You don't have to manufacture energy you don't have or pretend everything is fine. You can come to Him exactly as you are — coffee in hand, ponytail slightly crooked — and He will meet you there. The same God who hung the stars knows your name and knows what this week has cost you. You are not running on empty. You are running on Him.

Today’s Prayer

Lord, I am tired in ways I can't even fully explain, and I need You to be my strength today. Fill in every gap I leave and remind me that You are working even in the moments that feel like nothing. Thank You for not requiring me to be more than I am.
