You Are Held Even When You're Empty

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

— Isaiah 40:29

Let's be honest — by Friday you're running on fumes and whatever was left in the coffee pot at 7am. The week has been long. Someone had a meltdown (maybe them, maybe you, maybe both at the same time in the Target parking lot — no judgment). You've packed lunches, answered texts that started with 'Mom, can you—', sat with a worry you couldn't fix, and showed up anyway, over and over, even when you had absolutely nothing left to give. Here's what I want you to sit with today: God doesn't wait until you're rested and recharged to show up for you. He meets you exactly here — in the weary, in the depleted, in the 'I don't know how I'm doing this' middle of an ordinary Friday. The strength you need isn't something you have to manufacture. It's something He gives. You don't have to earn it or explain your tired. He already sees it, and He's already moving toward you.

Today’s Prayer

God, I'm running low today and You already know it — thank You for not asking me to pretend otherwise. Fill in the gaps I can't fill myself, and let me feel You close in the ordinary, exhausted hours ahead. Amen.
