You Don't Have to Hold It Together

Can we just be honest for a second? Here's what I want you to hear today: God didn't promise strength to the people who had it all figured out. He promised it to the weary. That's the qualifier. That's the requirement. You qualify. You don't have to manufacture some extra reserve of patience or joy today. You just have to be honest about how tired you are — and let Him meet you right there in the chaos, in the kitchen, in the minivan, in the mess. He's not waiting for you to get it together. He's already here.
