You Are Held Even on Hard Days

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

— Isaiah 40:29

It's Friday. You made it. Maybe barely — maybe on fumes and leftover goldfish crackers — but you made it through another week. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, whether it was a toddler who refused shoes for forty-five minutes or a teenager who communicated entirely in sighs, you kept showing up. That matters more than you know. Here's the thing about Isaiah 40:29 — it doesn't say God gives strength to the prepared, or the put-together, or the ones who remembered to start the dishwasher. He gives it to the weary. That's the qualification. Your exhaustion is not a sign that you're failing. It's actually a doorway. The moment you whisper 'I have nothing left' is precisely when God leans in closest. You don't have to manufacture energy you don't have. You don't have to pretend today was Instagram-worthy. You just have to let Him hold what you can't carry. And friend, He's got really strong arms.

Today’s Prayer

God, I'm tired in ways I can't even explain, but I know You see every single moment of this week that nobody else saw. Fill the places in me that are running on empty, and help me receive Your strength instead of just grinding through on my own. Thank You for not needing me to have it all together.
